We picked up this session after just entering the fireplace. We walked down towards the room at the bottom of the stairs. We started to observe all of the repulsive things that the hag had done to others, who had sought out her help for various things. We found the false wall, and pursued deeper.

We found some unfortunate souls that the hag had tuned into her minions. Without taking too much pity upon them, we simply eliminated them.
We saw the noxious fumes, and were trying to find a way to disperse them. We tried a few things, mostly fire related, but the fumes kept coming back. I turned to the BG3 wiki, and what we really needed to do was block the vents.
We grabbed some random garbage from the room prior, found the vents and blocked them. We made our way down to where Mayrina could be seen hanging in a cage over a chasm.

Mayrina kept telling us to go away and leave her alone. I thought it was strange, but I had my own reasons for pursuing the hag. Ignoring her, we engaged the hag. After the fight, Deb used speak to the dead. She asked, what the hag intended to do with the girl. The hag replied, “not her, her babe. She wanted to eat her baby.” Deb also asked, where all her values were. She said, in her workshop. We raided it, picking up all the goodies we could. Good or bad, we didn’t care.

Once outside, we encountered Mayrina, and she was irate with us. She believed, in exchange for baby, the hag would bring back her husband. One of the items we picked up from the workshop was the “Bitter Divorce”. Seeing that it was a possible option to bring back Mayrina’s deceased husband, we did so with this item. Unfortunately, he was not in the state she expected, but rather an undead creature… She quickly removed herself from the area and we have a new pet named Connor.
